First face-to-face meeting of the project!

The first TPM for our FEMST project took place in Nicosia (Cyprus) on the 2nd and 3rd march 2023. Our partners from Netherlands, Greece, Portugal, Spain and Cyprus gathered together for the first time to settle a good base for the start of the project and discuss an overall view of what is expected

What happened in this meeting?

Each partner got to make a brief presentation of their respectives organizations and institutions as an ice breaker! Then, the next steps to follow for our first work package were settled. We will be conducting several focus groups among the partner countries, so beware, we may ask you to participate!

A general discussion of what is expected from FEMST was set. As we want to make our best for the future of girls in STEM, the consortium went through each of the work packages in order to see what everyone had in mind for this project.

We are so happy to be able to develop this project as the inequality that girls still experience regarding gender prejudices is still a matter of concern. FEMST wants to make sure that we can build a curriculum and tools that are useful for teachers, educators and anyone who wants to make a difference.

We will meet again in September for our second transnational meeting in Athens. Until that, stay tuned for our news on the project.
